Permanent make-up, often abbreviated as PMU, is an advanced cosmetic technique in which pigments are introduced into the dermis with a special PMU device. This is done with a PMU device in which a needle/hygiene module is placed. While this technique bears some similarity to tattooing, the end goal is fundamentally different. While tattoos are often striking and artistic, permanent makeup aims to subtly and naturally mimic everyday makeup. We apply pigments to the top layer of the dermis or Stratum Basal in a subtle and very natural way.
PMU is suitable for everyone, both men and women, young and old. PMU is the perfect solution for people who have to draw with a pencil every day. It is also suitable for people who no longer have hairs on their eyebrows and/or eyelids, for example due to alopecia or another condition. Young people under the age of 18 do require permission from their parents.
